AMPLATZER® TorqVue® Delivery Systems

The new AMPLATZER® TorqVue® Delivery System reflects key design changes based on clinician feedback to improve delivery for AMPLATZER ASD, Cribriform, PFO*, PDA and Muscular VSD** Occluder Devices.

The AMPLATZER® TorqVue® Delivery Systems include a delivery sheath, dilator, delivery cable, Hemostasis Valve, loader, and plastic vise. Delivery systems are required for AMPLATZER® Septal, Cribriform, Duct, PFO* and Muscular VSD** Occluder devices.

AMPLATZER® TorqVue® LP Delivery Systems

The AMPLATZER® TorqVue® LP Delivery System is a low profile braided catheter delivery system available in 4 and 5 French sizes. A Flexible distal catheter segment allows for easy aortic or pulmonary artery approaches for PDA closure with the ADO II.

The braided delivery wire with flexible Nitinol tip allows for ease of device positioning and deployment within various duct configurations.

The AMPLATZER® TorqVue® LP Delivery Systems include a delivery catheter, delivery wire, Touhy-Borst adaptor, loader, and plastic vise and is required for AMPLATZER® Duct Occluder II**.

Exchange Systems are used when a change of delivery sheath is required after device advancement to the defect area. The system components are identical to the AMPLATZER® 45° and 180° Delivery Systems, with the exception of the dilator, which incorporates a larger inner lumen for passage over an AMPLATZER® delivery cable. Exchange Systems include a delivery sheath, dilator, delivery cable, Touhy-Borst adaptor, loader, and pin vise.

AMPLATZER® Sizing Balloon II

The AMPLATZER® Sizing Balloon II is designed to measure cardiovascular structures. The Sizing Balloon II system is recommended for “Stop-flow” sizing of atrial septal defects to determine appropriate occluder size for the defect.
